Killarney National Park

Killarney National Park was the first national park setup in Ireland and was designated a word biosphere reserve in 1981. It is located to the south and west of Killarney. It comprises of approximately 120km of land, containing large herds of deer, Oakland and other interesting flora and fauna. It is open for tourism all year round and has a designated visitor centre in Muckross.
